A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of central South Dakota from 6pm today (Feb. 14, 2023) through 6am tomorrow.
Weatherology meteorologist Michael Karow says this storm could include a little bit of everything.
Karow says there will be gusty northwesterly winds tonight.
Karow says as of mid-day, it looks like the bulk of the snow will fall in the far eastern part of South Dakota.
The National Weather Service says anyone traveling tonight should prepare for slippery road conditions, blowing snow and reduced visibility. Updated road condition information can be found on the SD511.org website, the SD511 mobile app or by calling 511 from any landline or cellular telephone. All of the 511 services are free of charge.
