The US Army Corps of Engineers updated prediction for runoff into the Missouri River basin continues to lag behind normal.
Ryan Larsen is with the Corps office in Omaha.
Larsen says the low runoff is due to a combination of factors.
Larsen says they expect more snow to pile up in the mountains.
The Corps also says there is adequate flood storage space in all the upstream reservoirs– including Oahe at Pierre and Fort Pierre.
