Pierre and Fort Pierre residents encouraged to “adopt a fire hydrant” in your neighborhood

While people are moving snow from this week’s storm (Feb. 21-23, 2023), Pierre Volunteer Fire Department Chief Ian Paul asks that you “adopt a fire hydrant” in your neighborhood.

The Fort Pierre Volunteer Fire Department also asks that people clear snow away from around fire hydrants in their neighborhood.
