Pierre and Winner retained their top spots in the South Dakota High School Media Football Polls, released Monday.
Pierre, who opened their season Friday with a 32-0 win at Aberdeen Christian, remains number-one in the 11AA poll.
Winner, now 2-0, is still on top of the 11B poll.
Stanley County received votes, but missed out on making the 9AA poll. The Buffaloes have started 2-0 for the first time in 18 years after upsetting De Smet at home.
Defending champion Gregory dropped from first to fourth in 9A after losing to Wolsey-Wessington, and the Warbirds are now atop that poll. Philip received votes after their win over 2022 9AA champion Wall.
Faulkton Area moved to the top of the 9B poll after shutting out defending champion Hitchcock/Tulare. Herreid/Selby Area and Potter County received votes.
