SIOUX FALLS – Chamberlain earned its third consecutive runner-up Class A girls finish Saturday in the SDHSAA Cross Country Championships at Yankton Trail Park.
The Cubs scored 62 points, finishing 35 points behind Sioux Falls Christian, who won its second straight championship.
Kinsey Evans was best individually for Chamberlain, running sixth. Kylah Biggins was 16th, with Grace Phillips in 17th. Aine Graesser ran 38th. Silvana Houska was 69th. Presley Houska ran 108th.
Hill City won the boys title for the first time since 2007. The Rangers scored 26 points, 28 better than Sioux Falls Christian.
Miller finished ninth, with junior Pierce Baumberger running fourth individually in 15:57.65. North Central was 12th.
