Winter weather moving into northern parts of South Dakota

Winter weather is moving into South Dakota today (Oct. 26, 2023), but how much “winter” arrives depends on where you live.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Megan Mulford says as of midday, the storm system is hitting North Dakota and northern parts of South Dakota.

Mulford says the drizzle, fog and cloudy conditions will hang around the rest of the day.

But, Mulford says, there is some good news.
