MINNEAPOLIS – Longtime Twins television play-by-play voice Dick Bremer is stepping away from broadcasting, but will remain with the Twins, as the team put it in a press release, continuing “as an ambassador of Minnesota Twins baseball through his storytelling abilities, while also remaining a key representative at Twins community and fan events.”
Bremer first called Twins games on cable from 1983 through 1985, then returned in 1987 and was the team’s television voice through the 2023 season. Bremer retires as the longest-tenured Major League Baseball television broadcaster for a single team.
