Attempt made to use a bogus $20 at a store in Winner

The Tripp County Sheriff’s Office and the Winner Area Chamber of Commerce are alerting area businesses about an attempt to use fake money at a business in Winner.

Information from the Chamber says someone tried to use a counterfeit $20 bill at the Runnings store. Businesses are encouraged to remind their employees to be on the look for counterfeit bills.
